DLA Maritime - Pearl Harbor is seeking to procure a large quantity of white oak lumber for shipyard use. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Pearl Harbor - Competitive Sourcing Division (DLA-HMD) - Product Requested: - 35,000 board feet of White Oak Select Car Stock lumber - Specification: NHLA (National Hardwood Lumber Association) full sawn, rough, waxed and sealed ends - Dimensions: 13" thick x 16" wide - Lengths: Minimum 40% of lot must be 17' long beams, balance 13' long - Must meet MM-L-736(D) Type-II specification - Length tolerance: +5/-0 percent - Third-party grading agency inspection required; certificate of conformance/test report must be included with shipment - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers named; vendors must specify manufacturer in their quote - Unique Requirements: - Lumber must be inspected and certified by a third-party grading agency - Delivery required to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard - SBA-eligible business set-aside - Evaluation based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) - Vendor responsibility determined via PPIRS and FAR 9.104

Evaluation criteria is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). PPIRS will be used to determine vendor responsibility.  Potential contractors will be screened for responsibility in accordance with FAR 9.104.
