This opportunity from the U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York seeks renovation services for staff locker rooms at their Staten Island facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Sector New York, Engineering Office - Scope of Work: - Replacement of toilets (5 total: 2 male, 3 female) - Replacement of urinals (2 in male locker room) - Installation of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bathroom stalls (6 total) - Installation of industrial solid surface counters with sinks (5 counters, 2 sinks each) - Installation of new lockers (20 total: 10 per locker room, approx. 72H x 15W x 24D) - Installation of benches (2 total, hardwood laminate surface, stainless steel legs) - Replacement of industrial linoleum floor tiles (340 tiles, covering 170 sq.ft. per room, 2.5 mm or greater thickness) - Installation of rubber baseboards with cove base (100 ft total, color-matched) - Wall painting and patching (all walls, trims, doors; two coats, colors by COR) - Unique Requirements: - All work must meet current building codes - One-year warranty required on all work - Compliance with prevailing wage and Davis Bacon Act provisions - Completion required within 30 days of contract award; standard work hours Monday-Friday 0700-1530, after-hours by approval - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are provided; products are described by material and dimensions - Quantities and specifications are clearly outlined for each item

Description

This project consists of repairs and renovations to the male and female staff locker rooms to address interior and exterior deficiencies, improve functionality, and restore aesthetic quality. The work will include, but is not limited to floor tile replacement, vanity and sink fixture replacements, toilet and urinal replacements, bathroom stall replacements, wall painting and patching, and locker replacement.   This Requirement must be in accordance with the prevailing wage/benefits for the disiplane , time of preformance and place of preformance, Davis Bacon Act provions apply.
