Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting for the supply of Injectable Influenza Vaccine for the 2027-2028 flu season. Approximately 1.5 million doses are included in this requirement. (Quantities may increase or decrease pending receipt of final Service requirements.) The vaccines shall be in prefilled syringes presentation. The vaccine shall be FDA-approved for the following age categories: for immunizing individuals 65 years and older, for immunizing individuals 18 years and older, for immunizing individuals 3 years and older, and for immunizing 6 months to 35 months (pediatric group).
The formula for the 2027-2028 season shall be determined by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Other specification data is included in the solicitation. Successful contractor must have FDA Approval, and the vaccine must be U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended. National Stock Numbers shall be established at the time of award.
An indefinite quantity contract is proposed. The quantity indicated is an annual estimate only. The guaranteed minimum will be 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum will be established at 150% of the annual estimate.
All quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. The contractor shall be capable of delivering 40% of the requirement by August 12, 2027, 25% by August 26, 2027, 25% by September 9, 2027, and the residual 10% by September 23, 2027. This delivery schedule is the preferred delivery schedule. Other delivery schedules may be considered.
