This opportunity is for the procurement and turnkey installation of a Monarch EE manual lathe at the Trident Refit Facility Bangor, Naval Base Kitsap, managed by DLA Maritime - Puget Sound. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division - Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRFB), Naval Base Kitsap - OEM Highlight: - Monarch Lathes is specified as the sole source manufacturer for the lathe - Products Requested: - Monarch EE Manual Lathe, 10 x 20 inches (Qty: 1) - Includes detailed specifications: 61" x 29" x 50" footprint, 3500 lbs, 7-1/2HP AC variable speed spindle, 25-4000 RPM - Associated accessories: multiple chucks (3-jaw, 4-jaw, 6-jaw), collet sets (5C, 16C), tool post set, digital readout, work light, tailstock centers, coolant system, and IUID tagging - Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for technical data, NRTL certification, warranty terms, and operation/maintenance manuals - Services Requested: - Turnkey setup, installation, and operational testing of the Monarch EE lathe - Rigging, removal of existing lathe, delivery, placement, connection to utilities, and machine skid disposal - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Sole source procurement for Monarch Lathes - Compliance with NRTL safety certification and DoD unique item identification (IUID) - Strict hazardous material and waste controls during installation - One-year or standard manufacturer warranty required - Supply chain traceability and security prohibitions on certain telecom equipment - COTS exemption from NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity if properly identified - Electronic invoicing via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) - Delivery and installation must be completed within 180 days post contract award, with acceptance at Silverdale, WA.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
