Riverside City College is seeking bids for a comprehensive upgrade of the HVAC controls and mechanical systems in the Quadrangle Building. - Government Buyer: - Riverside City College, part of Riverside Community College District - OEMs and Vendors: - Automated Logic Controls (ALC) specified for building automation system - Belimo (or approved equal) for temperature control valves - Bell & Gossett (or approved equal) for circuit balancing and triple duty valves - Products/Services Requested: - Complete replacement of the existing Trane temperature control system with Automated Logic Controls (ALC) BAS - New 3-way chilled water and heating hot water temperature control valves with actuators (Belimo or equal) - Circuit balancing valves and triple duty valves (Bell & Gossett or equal) - Stainless steel 40 mesh screens for strainers - New thermostats with integrated CO2 sensors (set at 900 ppm) - System cleaning, chemical treatment, and testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of hydronic HVAC systems - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with California Building Codes, Title 24, and Division of State Architect approval - Project includes installation of access doors/panels for maintenance - $25,000 allowance to be included in base bid - 10% bid bond required (electronic and hard copy with wet signatures) - Project duration is 120 days with liquidated damages at $250 per day - Open to contractors with a California B license - Integration of new thermostats with BAS and CO2 monitoring - System cleaning and chemical treatment required after valve and piping modifications
