Description

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide a full range of Landfill Operation Services at the Greater Vernon Landfill (GVL) and Lumby Landfill (LL). The scope includes hauling, placing, compacting, and covering municipal solid waste, managing material stockpiles such as wood waste, yard waste, scrap metal, concrete, asphalt, drywall, appliances, mattresses, tires, and propane tanks. The services also include maintaining roads, ditches, and tipping areas, and assisting customers. Optional services may be provided directly or through subcontractors.
