Description
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is re-establishing a matching program with the Social Security Administration (SSA) under Computer Matching Agreement No. 1045. This program allows SSA to disclose wage and self-employment income information to OPM to determine continued eligibility for certain retirement and survivor benefits subject to statutory earnings limitations. The program targets disability retirees under age 60, disabled adult-child survivors, certain Federal Employees Retirement System annuity supplement recipients, and certain Civil Service Retirement System discontinued service annuitants. The matching program will begin on October 20, 2026, and continue for 18 months, with a possible 12-month extension.
