Description
The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, through the U.S. Coast Guard, is establishing the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Board of Visitors as a federal advisory committee. The Board will review and make recommendations on the operation of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, including morale, discipline, recruitment, curriculum, instruction, equipment, fiscal affairs, and other relevant matters. The Board will meet at least annually and submit reports to the Secretary and relevant Congressional committees. Membership includes Senators, House Representatives, and individuals designated by the President.
