Description
This notice announces the completion of an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects by the University of North Dakota and the State Historical Society of North Dakota in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes remains of two Native American individuals and 53,411 associated funerary objects from Morton County, ND. The notice identifies a cultural affiliation with the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation, North Dakota. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after September 23, 2026, upon written request.
