This notice announces the completion of an inventory of human remains by the Beloit College, Logan Museum of Anthropology (LMA) in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory determined a cultural affiliation between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The human remains include at least one individual, with no associated funerary objects, and a headpiece of human hair from Wrangell Island, Alaska. Repatriation of the human remains may occur on or after September 23, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the LMA.
