Description

The Iliff School of Theology has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory determined a cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and certain Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The human remains represent at least one individual, and the associated funerary object is a book of Christian History bound in the skin of a murdered Lenape man. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after September 23, 2026.
