Description

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Fire Protection (DFFP), has issued an administrative order temporarily restricting public use of the Vallenar Bay Road on Gravina Island to protect life, safety, and property. The restriction supports timber harvest operations from the Vallenar Bay GNA Timber Sale on State Forest and USFS managed land, limiting road use to commercial and administrative traffic associated with these operations.
