The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve Hilcorp Alaska, LLC's application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0923MSS12 for the Nikaitchuq Development, an oil and gas production facility on Alaska's North Slope. ADEC also proposes to issue a significant revision to Air Quality Control Operating Permit AQ0923TVP03. The permits regulate emissions of various air pollutants including nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds, carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, and hazardous air pollutants.
