Description

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proposing to relinquish the State’s entitlement land selection of the surface estate while retaining oil, gas, and mineral interests on approximately 320 acres in specified sections of Township 20 North, Range 16 East, and Township 19 North, Range 16 East, Copper River Meridian, Alaska. The lands are currently under Federal management and ownership, not owned by the State. The purpose of relinquishment is to facilitate conveyance of Dingell Act allotment applications 97787 and 97763, each totaling 160 acres. The public is invited to submit comments by 3:00 PM, September 1, 2026, to provide input on this proposed action.
