The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is hosting public open houses to discuss the draft Southeast Alaska Transportation Plan (SEATP) Update. - Purpose: Present the draft plan and collect public and stakeholder feedback - Scope: Covers all transportation modes in Southeast Alaska (roads, ferries, airports, trails, marine facilities) - Timeline: The plan will guide transportation improvements for the next 20 years - Locations: Open houses in Sitka, Juneau, and a virtual session - Impact: Feedback will help set regional priorities and inform future updates to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and Aviation Improvement Program (AIP) - No procurement: This is not a solicitation for products or services; no OEMs, vendors, or contract opportunities are involved at this stage
Description
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is hosting public open houses in September and October 2026 to share the draft Southeast Alaska Transportation Plan (SEATP) Update and gather public feedback. The plan update covers transportation improvements over the next 20 years, including roads, ferries, airports, trails, and marine facilities in Southeast Alaska. There will be two in-person meetings in Sitka and Juneau, and one virtual meeting via Zoom. The plan aims to identify regional priorities and inform the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program and the Aviation Improvement Program.
