Description

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) proposes to reissue General Permit 2026DB0002 for Class I Underground Injection Control (UIC) Well Waste Disposal. This permit covers the disposal of non-hazardous domestic or non-domestic waste through deep well injection into non-drinking water aquifers that have received a groundwater exemption by the EPA. Coverage under this permit is available only to applicants who have also been issued a Class I UIC Well Permit by the EPA.
