This notice announces an application for a federal license or permit requiring State Water Quality Certification under the Clean Water Act for the discharge of dredged and/or fill materials into waters of the United States, including wetlands, for the development of a new NC Machinery commercial facility in Anchorage, Alaska. The project involves placing 214,000 cubic yards of sand and gravel mix into 19.94 acres of wetlands to develop a 24.82-acre lot for commercial use, including construction of buildings, parking, drainage, and stormwater management. Mitigation measures include retention basins for stormwater management and purchase of wetland mitigation credits. Public comments are invited before the expiration date of September 18, 2026.
