Description
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska has announced that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. filed tariff TA594-8 seeking to increase its Gas Transfer Price (GTP) from $8.13 to $8.14 per thousand cubic feet. The GTP is the price Chugach charges itself for gas from the Beluga River Unit and is recovered through the cost of power adjustment surcharge mechanism. The proposed new GTP will be effective October 1, 2026. Comments on the filing are due by September 3, 2026.
