The U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Approval and Certification Center (A&C) in Triadelphia, WV, is seeking a contractor for a full turnkey replacement of its HVAC chiller system. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) - Approval and Certification Center (A&C), Triadelphia, WV - OEMs and Vendors: - Carrier (OEM specified) - Equivalent chiller manufacturers are acceptable - Products/Services Requested: - Supply and installation of a new 150-ton HVAC chiller (Carrier or equivalent) - Chiller must have two independent 75-ton circuits - Includes removal and disposal of existing Carrier chiller - Rework of piping, valves, electrical and control wiring, reinsulation, glycol recharge, startup, and testing - Turnkey service covering all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be licensed in West Virginia with HVAC certification - Minimum 5 years of experience replacing similar chillers - Compliance with EPA refrigerant disposal standards - Quality control and safety requirements - Removal of old chiller must start within 5 days after delivery of new unit - All work must be completed within 120 days after delivery, with a 30-day phase-in period for familiarization - SBA set-aside for small business participation

Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to procure and install new replacement units for the Carrier (or equivalent) chiller.
