The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial and custodial services at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center - Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital - Scope of Services: - 24/7 janitorial and environmental cleaning services, including holidays - Floor maintenance, waste removal, restroom cleaning, emergency cleaning, linen distribution, bedmaking, cleaning high-touch points, dusting, cleaning HVAC vents - Services must comply with VHA, OSHA, CDC, and Joint Commission standards - Staffing requirement: 40 personnel daily across three shifts - Contractor must provide all labor, management, supervision, transportation, and quality control - Personnel must meet training, physical, and conduct requirements - Facility Areas Covered: - All major hospital departments and spaces, including specialty care, common areas, engineering, food and nutrition, nursing, pharmacy, pathology, radiology, surgical, and primary care - Contract Details: - Base period: 12 months - Option period: Additional 12 months - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - No specific OEMs or equipment vendors are named; procurement is for services, not products - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with federal health and safety standards - 24/7 coverage including federal holidays - Detailed Department of Labor wage determination applies

CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MANAGEMENT, AND SUPERVISION NEEDED TO PROVIDE JANITORIAL/CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT THE EDWARD HINES JR. VA HOSPITAL LOCATED IN HINES, IL. ALL SERVICES SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK.
