Description

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, Mountain Resorts Branch, is seeking to complete a wildfire risk reduction treatment at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort covering approximately 17.6 hectares. The scope includes fuel management treatments across three Treatment Units, involving manual danger tree assessment and removal, pruning, thinning from below, brushing, surface fuel reduction, debris piling, chipping, and pile burning, in accordance with the Fuel Management Prescription. All services are to be completed by March 31, 2027. The contract duration is estimated to be 6 months.
