The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces a public meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee (PAC) to advise the U.S. Commissioners to the Commission for the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean (WCPFC). The meeting will be held on October 5 and 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time, in Honolulu, HI, and via web conference. Topics include outcomes of WCPFC committee sessions, issues for the 2026 annual session, potential U.S. proposals, and input from U.S. Participating Territories. Public comments are accepted at least two weeks prior to the meeting and during the meeting. An Executive Session may be held for confidential matters.
