Description

The City of Farmington, New Mexico, through Red Apple Transit and the Farmington Metropolitan Planning Organization, is seeking a qualified transportation planning consultant to conduct a Comprehensive Operational Analysis and Microtransit Implementation Plan (COA). The study will evaluate Red Apple Transit's existing fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services and provide a practical, financially sustainable roadmap for improving service delivery, including the introduction of microtransit service, throughout Farmington and the surrounding service area. The contract time frame is one year from the Notice to Proceed, with a not-to-exceed budget of $120,000. Proposals must be submitted via the City's online bidding system by September 1, 2026.
