Description

The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide advisory and evaluation services in support of the AESO's Fast Frequency Response Plus (FFR+) Procurement. The services are divided into two scopes: Financial Viability Assessment Services and Commercial Operation Date Assessment Services. The selected consultant(s) will assist throughout various phases of the procurement including development of RFP requirements, evaluation methodologies, proposal evaluations, and post-award support. The contract term is up to twelve months, starting October 12, 2026, and ending October 12, 2027.
