The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Licensing, Child Care, is seeking proposals from State Universities or Florida College System institutions for comprehensive child care training and exam services. - Government Buyer: - State of Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Licensing, Child Care - Eligible Respondents: - Only State Universities or Florida College System institutions may submit proposals - Scope of Work: - Development, maintenance, and enhancement of Child Care Training Curriculum modules for both online and instructor-led formats - Creation and ongoing support of Competency Exams for online and in-person use - Maintenance and enhancement of the Child Care Resource and Information Network (CCRAIN), including regulations, desk reference guides, management letters, and legal opinions - Integration and support for the Child Care Training Application (CCTA) and associated databases - Project planning, ongoing communication, and quarterly reporting - Translation coordination for course materials into Haitian-Creole and Spanish - Technical support for online courses, CCRAIN, and related resources - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Florida Statutes and Department's Standard Contract - Translation of materials into Haitian-Creole and Spanish - Fixed-price unit costs for service tasks - Deliverables include project plans, quarterly reports, and approved training materials - No commercial OEMs or vendors are specified; only eligible educational institutions may respond - Estimated Contract Value: - Not-to-exceed $1,995,576 over three fiscal years

The State of Florida's Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Licensing, Child Care, is soliciting proposals for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Department-sponsored Child Care Training Curriculum modules for both online and instructor-led use. The solicitation also includes the creation of corresponding Competency Exams for online and in-person use, along with related systems and processes. The goal is to provide child care provider training to promote a safe, healthy, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in care, in accordance with Florida Statutes. Respondents must be a State University or Florida College System institution as defined by law.
