Description
The City of Palo Alto Utilities Department is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and replace the gaskets on the secondary bushings of Transformer 21 at the Colorado Substation. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, oil processing equipment, oil storage tanker with containment berm, testing instruments, safety equipment, transportation, hauling, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The transformer is an RTE-ASEA 10MVA, 60KV-12470/7200V, manufactured in 1976. The project is expected to be completed during Fiscal Year 2026–2027 and work will be performed at the Colorado Substation within the City of Palo Alto Utilities service area.
