Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (Loudoun Water) is seeking bids for the Broad Run Water Reclamation Facility (BRWRF) Flow Equalization and Solids Improvements project in Ashburn, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water) - OEMs and Vendors: - Beck (modulating actuators) - Vaughan (horizontal centrifugal chopper pumps) - CROM (prestressed concrete digester tanks) - Products/Equipment Requested: - Beck modulating actuators (2 units) for EQ Valve Room No.1 - Vaughan horizontal centrifugal chopper pumps with bearing isolators - Foam and scum busting pumped systems - Gate valves (including knife gate valves) - Unit masonry, masonry accessories, mortar, and grout - Services Requested: - Anaerobic digester inspection (Level 2 dry visual, 4 units) - Anaerobic digester cleaning and sediment removal - Process control system training - Pipe support system design and installation - Cupola removal and restoration on digesters - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must provide a Virginia Contractor's License and a bid bond (5% of bid price) - Bidders must demonstrate experience with at least three similar projects in the past ten years - Digester inspections and repairs require detailed safety and operational protocols - No software licenses or programming are required - Project includes phased digester outages (one out of service at a time) - Use of bearing isolators (not lip seals) for chopper pumps per specification - Disinfection of digester tanks and RDS piping after construction is not required

Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water) invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the BRWRF Flow Equalization and Solids Improvements project. The procurement and contract performance are governed by the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). The project includes constructing equalization tanks integral to Loudoun Water's treatment facility. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on July 16, 2026, with a non-mandatory site visit immediately following. Bids must be submitted via the IonWave online procurement system by August 27, 2026, 2:00 PM ET.
