Proulx - Services Requested (Three Streams): - ASL/LSQ Translation and Interpretation Services (including video production) - High-quality translation and interpretation in American Sign Language (ASL) and Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) - Video production with closed captioning, transcripts, and accessible multimedia content - Roles include project manager, lead translator, message equivalency interpreter, videographer, video editor, quality controller, and post-production captioner - ASL/LSQ Interpretation Services (real-time, consecutive and simultaneous, Deaf Interpretation) - Real-time interpretation for meetings, events, and live broadcasts (in-person and virtual) - Requires certified interpreters and multiple resources for sessions of 3+ hours - Preparation and urgent request support - Possible security requirements for specific task authorizations - Accessible Documents, Products, and Files (transcription and production) - Transcription and conversion to accessible formats (Braille, Audio, Large Print, DAISY) - Document design, layout, remediation, accessibility reviews, and testing for compliance with Canadian standards - Support for various file types (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Suppliers may bid for one or more streams; evaluation and award are independent by stream - Services must comply with Canadian accessibility standards and be delivered by certified interpreters/translators based in Canada - No security requirements for Streams 1 and 3; Stream 2 may have security requirements for individual tasks - Estimated Contract Value: - Annual aggregate expenditure estimated at $150,000 CAD (not a commitment) - Contract Duration: - Initial period of three years, with options for two additional one-year extensions (total up to 60 months) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a solicitation for qualified suppliers.

Accessibility Standards Canada (ASC) is seeking to establish Supply Arrangements for Professional Services to support Accessibility Standards including research related to the Accessible Canada Act (ACA). The services are divided into three streams: ASL/LSQ Translation & Interpretation services (video production), ASL/LSQ Interpretation services including real-time consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and Deaf Interpretation Services for meetings or events, and Accessible Documents/Products/Files transcription and production services. The contract duration is 60 months with the possibility of extension. The estimated annual aggregate expenditure is $150,000 CAD, but this does not constitute a commitment by Canada.
