Description

The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labour, materials, equipment, engineering, permits, supervision, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, warranty, and related services necessary to remove the existing emergency backup generator system at the Amherst Fire Station and supply, install, and fully commission a new automatic standby generator system. The new system must support the entire fire station during utility power interruptions and provide reliable, automatic, and code-compliant emergency power protection. The existing generator system has been in service since the 1970s and is at the end of its useful life. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for September 4th, 2026, at the Amherst Fire Hall.
