Accessibility Lift System Supply and Installation for U.S. Embassy Bogota CMR

The U.S. Embassy Bogota, under the Department of State's Facility Management Office, is soliciting quotes for a construction contract to supply and install an accessibility lift system at the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Bogota, Facility Management Office (FMO) - OEMs and Vendors: - Pollock (or approved equivalent) for the ABA lift system - Electrical panel brands specified: Square D, General Electric, Siemens, Eaton - Products and Services Requested: - Supply and installation of a commercial-grade vertical accessibility lift (Pollock or equivalent ABA lift) - Metallic structure with glass coverage - Mechanically operated with safety interlocks - Includes shipping and import customs - Demolition and preliminary activities - Civil and structural works for lift installation - Electrical power supply, including installation of a new 30-space electrical panel - Architectural finishes, painting, wood flooring restoration, and debris removal - Certified training for facility staff - One-year maintenance service for the lift system - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with U.S. and local codes and safety standards - Certified operational and safety training for facility staff - One-year maintenance warranty post-final acceptance - Relocation of voice/data systems, lighting, and installation of plumbing fixtures - Restoration of architectural finishes and site cleanup - All technical details and requirements are specified in the solicitation attachment

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for CMR ABA lift supply & installation. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation.  

Site visit will be held on August 28, 2026 at 11:00, if you are interested in participating send an e-mail  to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov with complete information of your company representatives before August 25, 2026 including the names and ID representative (max. one (1) per company).  If you send the information after the deadline, the access will be denied.

Question will be received before September 1, 2026 at 4:00 Pm to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov.  Quotations are due by September 9, 2024 at 16:00 hours.   No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
