U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), under the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking to procure high-frequency radio systems for its COTHEN Tech Refresh initiative. - Government Buyer: - Department of Homeland Security - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) - Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Wireless Communications Branch - OEMs and Vendors: - Rockwell Collins (now Collins Aerospace) is the specified OEM for the RT-2200A Wide Band HF Radio System - "Brand Name or Equal" provision allows for equivalent products from other manufacturers - Products/Services Requested: - 5 units of RT-2200A Wide Band High Frequency Receiver-Transmitter Radio Systems (Part Number: RT-2200A) - 5 sets of cables, connectors, and mounting hardware - 5 units of proprietary software - Shipping & handling - 1-year warranty/support service - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Radios must be compatible with the COTHEN HF Cellular Network software and support interoperability with existing systems - Equipment will replace legacy Collins Aerospace URGIII systems at 17 fixed sites - "Brand Name or Equal" clause enables competition from equivalent HF radio system manufacturers - All items must include shipping, handling, and a one-year warranty/support period - Period of Performance: - Six months from date of award
