The Department of the Air Force, 502D Air Base Wing, 502D Contracting Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio is seeking small business sources for the replacement of seven (7) Bard 4-ton wall-mounted HVAC units at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 502D Air Base Wing, 502D Contracting Squadron - Civil Engineering / Client Entity - OEM Highlight: - Bard is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); procurement is restricted to Bard brand units (Brand Name Only) - Products Requested: - Seven (7) high-efficiency 4-ton Bard wall-mounted HVAC units - Eco-friendly refrigerant compliant with EPA regulations - Compatible with existing electrical systems and controls - Includes new thermostats and minimum MERV 8 filtration - Services Requested: - Decommissioning and removal of seven legacy Bard HVAC units (models: WA602-C15V, W48A2-C09XPXXXJ, PA13482-C, WA372-C15B, WA701-C15B) - Safe refrigerant recovery per EPA Section 608 - Certified disposal/recycling with logs and manifests - Installation of new Bard units - Site preparation, structural reinforcement, weatherproofing, electrical/control wiring, condensate drain installation - Water-tightness verification per AAMA 501.2 - Testing, commissioning, and startup - Factory-authorized startup, vacuum testing, airflow and thermostat verification, certified air-balancing - Staff training seminar for facility maintenance team - Site cleanup and project closeout - Unique Requirements: - Brand Name Only restriction to Bard - Compliance with EPA refrigerant regulations and ASTM/AAMA standards - Warranty: 5 years manufacturer parts/compressor, 1 year workmanship - On-site, hands-on training for maintenance staff - Quantities: - Seven (7) HVAC units and associated services - Period of Performance: - Delivery and installation expected within 30, 60, or 90 days after award - Final payment contingent on completion and acceptance - Warranty coverage as specified
