Description
This is a solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number N0040626Q0482 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for OEM Cornell
Carr company replacement bridgewing sliding window and helicopter Control tower side window.
This acquisition is not a set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
The NAICS CODE is 332321 Metal Window and Door Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order that meets the specifications outlined below. The proposed contract action is for a sole source requirement to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) CORNELL-CARR COMPANY INC. IAW Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102 Restricting competition. The sole source is the only responsible source based on they are OEM for all of the windows aboard the T-AKE class ships. Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation without discussions to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation that represents the best value to the Government, price, delivery, technical acceptability, past performance, and other factors considered.
QUESTIONS: Offerors may submit their questions regarding clarification of solicitation requirements to Brian Schuyler by email at brian.d.schuyler.civ@us.anvy.mil no later than closing of the solicitation. Any questions received after this deadline may not be answered.
Shipping term shall be FOB Destination; therefore, quote SHALL include shipping cost.
System for Award Management (SAM). Quoting vendors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://sam.gov/.
To be considered for this opportunity, all quotes shall be submitted in either Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet or Adobe PDF. Quote must include price(s), FOB Destination, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. An award will be made based on Best Value. Each quote must clearly indicate the capability of the vendor to meet all specifications and/or requirements in the SOW. Vendors shall provide a detailed (unpriced) capabilities statement for review and acceptance by the Technical POC. Responses to this solicitation are due by 10am on August 25, 2026. Quotes shall be valid for sixty (60) days (at minimum).
