Notice of Intent: Sole Source Tire Amnesty Event for Placer County, CAOverviewThe Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Mother Lode Field Office, in partnership with Placer County, intends to sponsor a Tire Amnesty Event. This event will allow residents of Placer County, California to dispose of tires freely, addressing concerns about illegal dumping and supporting environmental stewardship through proper tire disposal and community engagement.Sole Source Contract AnnouncementThis notice informs the public of BLM¿s intent to award a sole source contract for waste hauling services associated with the Tire Amnesty Event in Placer County. The contract will be awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207 (c)(15) and will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by RFO 6.103-1(b) under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1).
