The U.S. Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base is seeking carpet replacement services for three buildings (739, 840, and 955). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Mobility Command, 22 CES CEOH, McConnell AFB, KS - OEMs and Approved Carpet Vendors: - Milliken - Mohawk - Tarkett - Interface - Shaw - J&J Flooring Group - Mannington - Flexco (for cove base) - Products Requested: - Carpet tiles for each building - Building 739: 1,202 SF (approx. 133 tiles) plus 15% extra - Building 840: 330 square yards (approx. 330 tiles) plus 15% extra - Building 955: 138 tiles plus 15% extra - Resilient rubber cove base (Flexco or approved equal) - Building 739: 309 LF - Building 840: 719 LF - Building 955: 381 LF - Floor transitions matching or complementing cove base - Building 739: 309 LF - Building 840: 719 LF - Building 955: 381 LF - Carpet adhesive - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing carpet, rubber base, and adhesive (including EPA waste compliance) - Floor preparation - Installation of new carpet tiles, cove base, and transitions by certified installers - Furniture moving and replacement - Cleaning and site restoration post-installation - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Carpet selections must be from seven approved vendors under the Air Force Carpet Program - Certified installers required; adherence to Air Force and CRI standards - Contractor must provide 15% extra carpet tiles for each building - Compliance with EPA waste disposal guidelines - Performance period not to exceed 30 days from receipt of materials; work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm, with possible weekend work - Evaluation based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 314110

Carpet replacement located at McConnell AFB for buildings 739, 840, 955.

A site visit is scheduled for 3 September 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST. Contractors are limited to two personnel per visit. A pass request form for base access is included in the solicitation package under attachments. Submit the base access pass request to lindsay.manning.1@us.af.mil and haley.frierdich.1@us.af.mil by 26 August 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CST.
