The Federal Bureau of Prisons at United States Penitentiary (USP) Canaan is seeking quarterly deliveries of milk and dairy products for inmate and staff consumption. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Canaan - Products Requested: - 234,000 pints of whole milk Vitamin D (236.6 ml / 8 fl oz containers) - 65 containers of sour cream (5 pounds each, reduced fat, low-fat or nonfat, unflavored) - 65 containers of cottage cheese (5 pounds each, cultured or acidified, low fat (2%), fat free, or no salt added, unflavored) - Delivery Requirements: - Weekly deliveries over a 13-week period - Specific delivery dates scheduled from October through December - Set-Aside: - Procurement is set aside for small businesses under NAICS 311511 (Dairy Product (except Frozen) Manufacturing) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brand names are required; generic dairy products are acceptable - Notable Requirements: - All products must meet nutritional and labeling standards as described (e.g., fat content, unflavored, no salt added where specified)

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for milk/dairy items for delivery to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Canaan, Waymart PA, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
