Description
Spalding County is seeking a well-qualified law firm to serve as County Attorney for the Spalding County Board of Commissioners. The County Attorney represents Spalding County in all legal matters and monitors litigation cases covered by ACCG's Risk Management program, providing additional services upon request and direction of the Board. The scope includes providing legal advice, counsel, services, and consultation on a wide variety of civil assignments, representing the County in courts and administrative agencies, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and attending County meetings. The contract term is two years with an option to renew for an additional year.
