Harmony Public Schools is seeking qualified construction firms for the ground-up build of a new 54,659 sq ft elementary school facility in El Paso, Texas (Dyer Elementary, Phase 2). - Scope of work includes: - Construction of school building, parking lot, kitchen, landscaping, subdivision improvements, and street dedication with street illumination - Concrete, drywall, glazing, interior and exterior finishes, roofing, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, landscaping, low voltage systems, and related tasks - Installation of kitchen equipment, doors, frames, windows, gym equipment, AV systems, PA system, intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, underground fiber optic, data and voice network systems, marquee with electronic message display, and OxBlue camera - Services required: - Project supervision, management, and final cleanup - Material testing and reporting (concrete, steel, inspections) - County approvals, certificate of occupancy, permit and inspection costs - Site work, playgrounds, driveway, parking area, sidewalk, exterior finishes, waterproofing, metals, drywall and ceiling, toilet/changing room partitions, thermal and moisture protection - Owner allowance ($500,000), performance/payment bond - Notable requirements: - Submission of OSHA inspection logs, insurance loss history, payment and performance bond statements, financial statements, certifications regarding criminal history and asbestos-free materials - Strict completion deadline with liquidated damages of $2,000 per day for delays - Project subject to approval by HPS governing board - Estimated budget is $17 million - No specific OEMs or vendors named; solicitation is open to qualified construction firms - Design and engineering consultants involved: Gignac Architects, CEA Group (civil), Greenway Studio (landscape), Green Rubiano & Associates (structural), DBR (MEP), Combs Consulting Group (IT), Foodservice Design Professionals

Harmony Public Schools (HPS) is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified offerors to provide construction services for a new elementary school at Harmony School of Innovation - El Paso Dyer Elementary, Phase 2.
