The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an order approving the indirect transfer of control of several radioactive materials and reactor licenses from EnergySolutions, LLC to ECP VI, LLC and its ultimate parent, Bridgepoint Group, PLC. This transfer reflects an upstream change in ownership of the holding company of Energy Solutions. The licenses involved include Radioactive Materials License No. 39-35044-01, License Nos. DPR-43, DPR-73, Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation general license No. 40, and Export Licenses XW010 and XW018. The order was issued on August 12, 2026, and was effective upon issuance.
