Description

The Department of Education is proposing a revision of a currently approved information collection request related to the Consolidated Annual Report (CAR) under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. The revisions include updating Financial Status Report instructions and forms to reduce reporting burden on States, updating instructions and Performance Reporting forms to reflect the updated National Career Clusters Framework, and making technical and non-substantive updates to improve clarity. The Department is soliciting public comments to inform its review of this information collection. Comments are invited on or before October 20, 2026.
