The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for an information collection related to the designation of housing projects. Public housing agencies (PHAs) must submit plans for HUD approval to designate projects as elderly only, disabled only, or elderly and disabled. The plans must document the necessity of the designation, describe the project and tenant types, supportive services, accommodations for special needs, and plans for additional resources. HUD is requesting public comments on this proposed information collection for 30 days.
