Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) is seeking an Environmental Consultant/Firm to assess four watercourses on Reserve and establish Streamside Protection and Enhancement Areas (SPEAs) in accordance with BC Riparian Areas Protection Regulation (RAPR, 2019). The study will cover George Creek, Thomas Creek, Big John Creek, and an unnamed watercourse on IR #3. The assessment aims to identify creek flood hazards and mitigation measures, forming the basis for a Development Permit Area (DPA) Framework and Guidelines to be incorporated into the TWN Land Use Plan. The work involves on-site environmental assessment to protect fish and habitat and guide land use planning and sustainable development.
