Description

The Mission Installation Contracting Command Ft. Knox intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide noon boxed meals for applicants processing through the Honolulu Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), located at Honolulu MEPS, 490 Central Ave., Pearl Harbor, HI 96860. The period of performance is 1 December 2026, or date of contract award, whichever is later, through 30 November 2027, with two one-year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. NAICS 311991 (Size Standard: 700 employees) applies to this procurement. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal. Also note, if MEPS is located on a military installation. IAW AR 40-657, contractors delivering and serving food on a military installation must pass a Veterinary Service Food Protection Audit to be a sanitarily approved source. The apparent successful offeror shall furnish products from an approved food preparation facility. The approval shall be obtained prior to contract award. Food establishments located on the military installation are inspected locally by veterinary inspection personnel. The apparent successful offeror shall coordinate their request to schedule an auditor obtain local approval of the food.
