The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking qualified firms to deliver statewide geospatial and surveying services. - Scope includes: - Aerial photography, photogrammetry, and Aerial LiDAR - Terrestrial and mobile LiDAR - GIS services - Construction surveys and stakeout - Hydrographic and bathometric surveying - GPS, geodetic, and control surveys - Topographic and location (route) surveys - Hydraulic and drainage surveys - Final or as-built surveys - Closed and boundary surveys - Data fusion and staff augmentation - Ancillary services (traffic control, title reports) - Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) services - Utility designation and location services - All work must comply with Virginia DOT standards and manuals - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Services are to be provided on a statewide basis - Notable requirements: adherence to current Road and Bridge Standards, Road Design, Drainage, Survey, CADD, Right of Way, and Virginia Work Area Protection Manuals
