The City of Soledad is seeking qualified professional service firms to provide on-call support for a wide range of municipal engineering and public works projects. - Government Buyer: - City of Soledad, Public Works Department - Scope of Services: - Program management for capital project delivery, staff augmentation, utility coordination, grant applications, and master planning - Civil design including pavement evaluation, rehabilitation, water/wastewater, storm water, and peer review - Electrical design for generator projects, facility upgrades, lighting, and industrial facilities - Development management and review (application completeness, improvement plan review, technical report review, conditions of development) - Traffic engineering (traffic calming, complete streets, signal/roundabout design, traffic studies, safety analysis, signing & striping) - Structural engineering (building/facility assessments, structural/seismic evaluation, analysis and design) - Surveying, mapping, and right-of-way engineering (field surveying, city surveyor services, plats/legal descriptions for ROW/easement acquisitions) - Additional services: GIS and asset management, geotechnical engineering, storm water permit compliance, environmental services, hazardous materials testing, construction management - Requirements: - Consultants must be licensed in California and demonstrate in-house expertise - Qualification-based selection; proposals with fee schedules or cost information will be rejected - Compliance with state and federal procedures, financial management systems, and periodic meetings with city staff - Inclusion on the on-call list does not guarantee work or minimum compensation - Notable Details: - No specific products, part numbers, or quantities requested; focus is on professional services - Selected firms will be placed on an on-call list for future task orders - The city reserves the right to reject any or all submissions

The City of Soledad is seeking experienced professional service firms to provide on-call, task-order based professional support services. The scope includes municipal engineering projects such as parks and facilities architectural support, capital improvement project delivery, development review, staff augmentation, and other related professional services. Consultants are required to submit statements of interest and qualifications demonstrating competence and experience; fee schedules or cost proposals are not allowed and will be rejected. Selected consultants may be placed on the City's list of qualified on-call consultants for future task orders.
