KRSC seeks residential solid waste collection and disposal services for K2 Collection Zone

Kent Regional Service Commission (KRSC) is seeking a vendor for an eight-year contract to provide residential solid waste collection and disposal services in the K2 Collection Zone. - Government Buyer: - Kent Regional Service Commission (KRSC), Bouctouche, New Brunswick - Scope of Services: - Collection and disposal of residential solid waste from approximately 3,076 residences, including seasonal cottages - Weekly collection of organic waste (clear green bags) - Biweekly collection of landfill waste (clear bags) - Biweekly collection of recyclable materials (In-Scope Paper and Packaging, clear blue bags) - Transportation of all collected waste to Southeast Eco360's site in Berry Mills, NB for processing - Enforcement of sorting compliance, including inspection and rejection of improperly sorted materials - Monthly reporting to KRSC - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Adherence to a 3-stream sorting program (organic, landfill, recyclable) - Use of specific bag types for each waste stream - Compliance with KRSC's enforcement and reporting protocols - Operational, safety, and insurance standards must be met - Contract subject to adjustment for regulatory changes and semi-annual fuel price adjustments - OEMs and Vendors: - Southeast Eco360 (designated processing site for collected waste) - No specific products or part numbers are requested; the opportunity is strictly for waste collection and disposal services.

Description

The Kent Regional Service Commission invites proposers to submit proposals for the collection and disposal of residential solid waste in the K2 Collection Zone. All collected waste must be transported to Southeast Eco360's site in Berry Mills, NB for processing. The contract will be valid for eight years, starting January 2, 2028, and ending December 29, 2035. Services include weekly organic waste collection and biweekly collection of waste destined for landfill and recyclable materials. Payment will be processed monthly upon receipt of invoices.
