Description
The City of Westlake Village is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or consultant teams to prepare a comprehensive Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). The plan aims to identify wildfire hazards, prioritize fuel reduction and mitigation projects, strengthen evacuation and emergency preparedness, and build community awareness to reduce wildfire risk to life, property, infrastructure, and natural resources. The CWPP will be developed in coordination with local fire and emergency agencies and community stakeholders, consistent with the Healthy Forests Restoration Act (HFRA) of 2003.
