2 Architecture Inc. is soliciting bids from General Contractors on behalf of RRC Polytech for the renovation of existing stair and bridge guardrails at select locations on campus. The work includes installation of guardrail extensions and infill glazing within existing openings to address safety concerns, as well as upgrades to existing guardrails and openings to enhance safety beyond current building code requirements. Construction involves new steel framing, mesh or glazed guardrail extensions, removal of existing top rails, and infill glazing, and will occur while the campus remains operational with coordination to minimize disruption. The project is divided into Phases 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D, with Phase 1D as a separate price. A building permit was issued on June 23, 2026, and will be transferred to the successful bidder upon award.
