Loudoun Water is seeking qualified contractors for the Broad Run Water Reclamation Facility (BRWRF) Flow Equalization and Solids Improvements project in Ashburn, VA. - Government Buyer: - Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water) - Project location: Ashburn, VA - OEMs and Vendors: - CROM (prestressed concrete digester tanks) - Vaughan (horizontal centrifugal chopper pumps, foam/scum buster system) - Suppliers of gate valves, masonry materials, and accessories - Products and Services Requested: - Horizontal centrifugal chopper pumps (Section 43 23 19) - Gate valves, including knife gate valves (Section 40 05 61) - Unit masonry, masonry accessories, mortar, and grout (Sections 04 20 00, 04 05 23, 04 05 13) - Repair, rehabilitation, and new installation of prestressed concrete digester tanks - Heat tracing and insulation for new piping - Delegated design and installation of pipe supports (Virginia PE-sealed) - Scaffolding rental and installation for tank inspection and repair - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Mandatory pre-bid conference - Virginia Contractor's License required - Bid bond (5% of bid price) - Documentation of at least three similar successful projects (except sole-sourced CROM work) - Allowances for inspection, repair, and scaffolding rental - Coordination with OEMs for delegated design and installation - All labor, materials, equipment, and related costs must be included in the lump sum bid.
