Description
The University of Maine System, through Competitive Energy Services (CES) as the Bid Administrator, is seeking proposals from qualified electricity suppliers to provide electric supply for certain University locations including University of Maine at Augusta, Farmington, Machias, and Southern Maine. The objective is to obtain a fixed price for electricity supply, inclusive of losses to the customer meter and any other state or federal charges, with a bandwidth of no less than 25% up and down. The procurement includes a broker fee for volume associated with Augusta only, and the University reserves the right to award on a location-by-location basis. Bids must be received by September 3, 2026, and the estimated award date is on or before December 1, 2027.
